In a significant career milestone, 20 officers from the Gujarat State Civil Service (SCS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) under the Select Lists (SL) of 2023 and 2024. These officers have been allocated to the Gujarat Cadre, strengthening the administrative structure of the state. Among those promoted under the 2023 Select List are H J Prajapati, C C Kotak, K J Rathod, S J Joshi, and V I Patel. Meanwhile, 15 officers have been elevated under the 2024 Select List, including P A Ninama, K P Joshi, B M Patel, Kavita Rakesh Shah, B D Davera, A J Gamit, and others.
This promotion not only acknowledges their dedication and service to the state but also entrusts them with greater responsibilities in governance and policy implementation.
