The Delhi government has announced a reshuffle involving 15 IAS officers, bringing changes to key administrative portfolios. Prashant Goyal, Financial Commissioner, has been entrusted with additional charge of ACS (Food & Civil Supplies) and CMD (DFC). Sandeep Kumar, PS (Vigilance), has been relieved from the Environment & Forest Department and given charge of PS (IT) along with Chairman, DPCC.
Neeraj Semwal, Secretary Revenue-cum-Divisional Commissioner, will now also serve as Secretary, Power, while Shurbir Singh, Secretary (Finance), has taken on the role of Development Commissioner. Pandurang K Pole has been assigned dual charge as Secretary, Higher Education, and Secretary, Education. Meanwhile, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri has been posted as Secretary, Urban Development with additional responsibilities of Secretary, Environment & Forests.
Other notable changes include Ashok Kumar as Secretary, GAD; Shilpa Shinde being relieved of her additional role; Ravi Jha as Commissioner, Excise with added charge of Special Secretary, PWD; and Dr. Kinny Singh appointed as Member (Administration), Delhi Jal Board. Officers such as Sandeep Kumar Singh, Jitendra Kumar Jain, Sanjeev Kumar, Ravi Dadhich, and Yash Chaudhary have also been given new or additional responsibilities. These changes are expected to strengthen governance and improve administrative efficiency in Delhi.
