In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of West Bengal has transferred and assigned new roles to 14 IAS officers.
Sharad Kumar Dwivedi has been appointed as Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, while Sumit Gupta has taken charge as Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC).
Dhaval Jain has been posted as District Magistrate (DM), Birbhum, and Arvind Kumar Mina has been transferred as DM, South 24 Parganas.
Other key appointments include Shashank Sethi as DM, North 24 Parganas; Rajarshi Mitra as Managing Director, WBHIDCO; Dr Rajat Nanda as Director, Tourism; Dr Preeti Goyal as DM, Malda; Nitin Singhania as DM, Murshidabad; Kontham Sudhir as DM, Purulia; Unice Rishin Ismail as DM, Medinipur; Raju Mishra as DM, Cooch Behar; Akanksha Bhaskar as DM, Jhargram and Manish Mishra as DM, Darjeeling.
