A total of 13 IRS officers at the Principal Commissioner/Commissioner level in Customs and Indirect Taxes have been transferred and assigned to various locations. The new postings are as follows:
- J Michael Kennedy is now posted at Chennai (North-GST & CX).
- Subhash Chandra Agarwal has been transferred to DGRI, Chennai (ZU).
- Sugrive Meena is posted at Jodhpur (Customs Preventive).
- Istikhar Baig is assigned to Chennai-III Customs.
- Yogesh Kumar Agarwal will now serve in Ranchi (GST & CX).
Other officers who have been transferred include:
- Venkat Reddy (DGGI, Hyderabad ZU),
- Ajazuddin (Hyderabad Customs),
- Vijay Mohan Jain (DGRI-Delhi ZU),
- Ranjit Kumar (DG Systems & Data Management, Delhi),
- Kopal Krishna Jha (Audit Delhi Customs),
- G Shiril Saroj (DGRI, Ahmedabad ZU),
- Manish Thapliyal (DG Systems & Data Management, Mumbai), and
- L Beimopha (DG NACIN, Shillong ZTI).
These transfers are part of routine administrative changes.
