R S Chhabbi has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on a deputation basis, as per the latest official order. He is a 2007-batch IPS officer belonging to the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
With extensive experience in policing and administration, Chhabbi’s induction at the DIG level is expected to further strengthen CRPF’s leadership and operational efficiency. The appointment reflects the Centre’s continued emphasis on deploying experienced IPS officers in key positions within central armed police forces.
