NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has partnered with the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) for the ₹642.82-crore redevelopment of the Tulsi Niketan Scheme Area.
The MoU was signed by Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, IAS, Secretary, GDA, and Shri Pradeep Sharma, Executive Director (Engg.) & RBG-Head, NBCC, marking a significant step toward sustainable and modern urban revitalization.
Spread across over 78,000 sq. m., the project includes 2,300 residential units and 64 commercial shops, all set to be redeveloped through a self-sustainable model. The project will involve a detailed feasibility study by NBCC, while GDA will provide land documents, site inputs, and administrative support.
Upon approval, NBCC will oversee planning, design, construction, marketing, financial management, and rehabilitation of existing residents. A jointly operated escrow account will ensure transparent fund utilization, while an Empowered Committee will monitor project progress and approvals.
The redevelopment aims to create a modern, well-planned, future-ready urban township with improved infrastructure and upgraded living standards.
NBCC continues to lead India’s major redevelopment projects, following successful transformations such as New Motibagh, East Kidwai Nagar, Nauroji Nagar (World Trade Center), and ongoing projects across Goa, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, and Rajasthan.
