IPS officer Jai Yadav sent on Central Deputation to BSF as DIG

In a key administrative development, the Government of Rajasthan has placed the services of IPS officer Jai Yadav under the Government of India for central deputation in the Border Security Force (BSF).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Rajasthan, Jai Yadav, an IPS officer of the 2012 Rajasthan cadre, will serve as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in BSF for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders.

Before this assignment, the officer was serving as Superintendent of Police (SP), Churu district in Rajasthan.

The deputation has been approved by the state government and communicated to the Ministry of Home Affairs, which oversees central armed police forces including the BSF.

Officials said the move is part of the regular central deputation of IPS officers to paramilitary forces, aimed at strengthening leadership and operational capabilities within the force.
