Center in Arbon, Switzerland, welcomed employees for a Family & Friends Day and hosted local institutional representatives and stakeholders. The celebration included inspiring talks and round tables, taking guests on a journey through the past, present and future of propulsion, highlighting the company’s innovation and research.
Topics discussed during the day included the role of funded projects and collaborations in accelerating and scaling innovation, the impact of digital mobility and AI, and the development of zero-carbon propulsion and alternative fuels both today and in the future. Additionally, a panel focused on the role of “Swiss innovation” and opportunities for cross-border collaboration and attracting talent. The day concluded with laboratory tours and a networking session, offering participants new opportunities for discovery, sharing, and dialogue.
The Arbon R&D plant is one of FPT Industrial’s most advanced technology and innovation hubs in the world, and a true beacon of excellence for its local community. The history of the Arbon R&D Center is closely linked to some of FPT Industrial’s most significant technological innovations, including recent developments for the eBS 37 EVO and eBS 69 battery packs, as well as for the hydrogen version of the XCURSOR 13.
