Four IPS officers of Madhya Pradesh cadre who have been deputed to the CBI are

Ashutosh Bagri, a 2009-batch IPS officer, is currently posted as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Betul district. He will be joining the CBI as a Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

Alok Kumar Singh, a 2010-batch IPS officer, is currently posted as the SP of Ratlam district. He will be joining the CBI as a SP.

Rajiv Mishra, a 2011-batch IPS officer, is currently posted as the SP of Jhabua district. He will be joining the CBI as a SP.

Mrs Nitu Tripathi, a 2012-batch IPS officer, is currently posted as the SP of Women’s Safety in Bhopal. She will be joining the CBI as a SP.

The Madhya Pradesh Government has relieved them of the cadre responsibility with effect from the date of their joining the CBI. They will be deputed to the CBI for a period of four years.

The deputation of these officers to the CBI is a part of the regular rotation of officers between the state police and the central agencies. It is also an opportunity for these officers to gain experience in handling sensitive and high-profile cases.
