In a significant move ahead of administrative requirements, the Election Commission of India has ordered the transfer of four IPS officers in Tamil Nadu, assigning them new roles as Superintendents of Police (SPs).
D N Harikiran Prasad has been posted as SP, Karur, while D V Kiran Shruthi takes charge as SP, Erode. Similarly, Sujith Kumar has been appointed SP, Nagapattinam, and Dr N Shreenatha will serve as SP, Virudhunagar.
The latest IPS transfers in Tamil Nadu are aimed at strengthening district-level policing and ensuring smooth administrative functioning.
