In a fresh round of administrative changes, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has approved the transfer and posting of three IAS officers and five DANICS officers across various departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD). The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and improving administrative efficiency in key sectors, including Education, Revenue, Municipal Administration, and Agriculture.
Among the senior appointments, Dilraj Kaur (IAS: AGMUT 2000) has been shifted from her role as Managing Director of Delhi Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (DSFDC) and Delhi Cooperative Housing Finance Corporation (DCHFC) to take over as Principal Secretary, Education.
Himanshu Nigam (IAS: AGMUT 2021), on joining the GNCTD, has been appointed as Secretary, Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board (DAMB). He will also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC), relieving Ayushi (IAS: AGMUT 2022) of both responsibilities.
Following the change, Ayushi (IAS: AGMUT 2022) has been transferred to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Among the DANICS officers, Vadodaria Karanjit P. (DANICS: 2009) has been moved from the office of the Minister handling Social Welfare, Welfare of SC & ST, Cooperative and Election portfolios to serve as Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate (East) in the Revenue Department.
Mohit Mishra (DANICS: 2013), who was serving as Secretary to the Minister for Industries, Food & Supplies, Environment, Forest and Wildlife, has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate (North East), Revenue Department.
Meanwhile, Ayushi Soni (DANICS: 2023), who was awaiting a posting, has been appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Headquarters) in the South District of the Revenue Department.
Radhey Shyam Meena (DANICS: 2017) has been transferred from the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), where he served as Director, to the post of Additional District Magistrate (Outer North), Revenue Department.
Poonam (DANICS: 2017), previously serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Gokalpur), has been posted as Additional District Magistrate (South), Revenue Department.
The latest Delhi IAS and DANICS reshuffle reflects the administration’s continued efforts to strengthen governance through strategic deployment of officers across key departments and field assignments.
