Delhi Government assigns fresh portfolios to seven IAS officers

In a recent reshuffle, seven IAS officers in Delhi have been entrusted with new leadership roles across departments.

Bipul Pathak has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Finance & Planning, and now also holds charge of Industries and Chairmanship of DSIIDC. Prashant Goyal is set to succeed Chetan B Sanghi as Finance Commissioner from July 1.

Sandeep Kumar steps in as Principal Secretary, Vigilance, while continuing oversight of Administrative Reforms and Environment & Forests. Pandurang K Pole will now also manage Urban Development, in addition to Higher Education & TTE.

A Nedunchezhiyan takes the helm as Principal Director of Delhi Fire Services. Arun Kumar Mishra has been placed under MCD, and Sunil Anchipka joins as Special Commissioner, Trade & Taxes. Lastly, Ramesh Verma has been appointed as Chairman, DSSSB, with an added role as Director, UT Civil Services.
