The Indian government has received multiple bids for its stake in state-run carrier Air India, the auction for which ended on Monday 5 pm evening.
The biggest name and strongest contender remains AI founder Tata Group which is learnt to have submitted its bid via AirAsia India.
Others who did include a group of 219 AI employees and a New York-based firm run by an Indian origin person.
