Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the constitution of five state-level committees for regular review of the implementation and progress of development programs and schemes operated across the state through various departments of the state government. Only 5 state-level committees will be constituted in place of 12 committees formed earlier.
These state-level committees will review the progress under State Fund and Central Assistance schemes, State Government budget announcements, announcements mentioned in election manifesto as well as instructions given by the Chief Minister from time to time. Also, these committees will discuss and review various interdepartmental problems and cases and the progress of projects operated under the public-private partnership.
The proposed state-level committees are:
Department of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Cattle, Cooperatives, and Food and Civil Supplies.
Water Resources, Energy, Public Health Engineering, Public Works, Forest, Revenue, Autonomous Governance, and Urban Development and Housing Department.
• School education (including mid-day-meal), Department of College Education, Technical Education, Information Technology and Communication and Skills and Entrepreneurship.
• Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, National Rural Employment Guarantee Program, Watershed Development and Land Conservation, Industries, MSME and Mines and Petroleum Department.
• Department of Medicine and Health, Family Welfare, Medical Education, Social Justice and Empowerment, Tribal Regional Development and Women and Child Development.
