Nineteen IPS officers in Gujarat have been reassigned to new roles. Dr. Shamsher Singh will continue as the Director (additional charge), Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ahmedabad, while Dr. S. Pandia Rajkumar has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Gandhinagar. Ajay Kumar Choudhary will now serve as ADGP (Women Cell), Gandhinagar.
Other key appointments include M.L. Ninama as Inspector General of Police, State Traffic Branch, Gandhinagar; Ms. Vidhi Choudhary as Additional Commissioner of Police (Special Branch) and Additional Commissioner of Police (Admin.), Ahmedabad City; Jaipal Singh Rathore as Additional Commissioner of Police, Sector-2, Ahmedabad City; and Sanjay Kharat as SP, Amreli.
Further, Dr. Ravindra Patel takes over as Executive Director, Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation, Gandhinagar; Vikas Sunda as SP, Kutch-Bhuj (West); Himanshu Verma as SP, Anti-Economic Offences Wing, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar; and Dr. Leena Patil as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Law & Order), Vadodara City. Other notable postings include Shripal Shesma (waiting for assignment), Dr. Sudhirkumar Desai as SP, Intelligence, Gandhinagar, and Himkar Singh as SP, Rajkot Rural.
